Enjoy! The Story Behind 'You Will Find Me'.
It all started when I moved down to Nashville... Ben Rector and Steve Moakler were two of the first friends I made when I got down here. Seeing as how all three of us had humble followings in different regions of the nation it just made sense to do a tour together. The Three Amigos Tour was born! I don't really recall why it we went with the Three Amigos... Not one of the three of us has even a speck of the heritage of our brothers from south of the border but never the less... We went with it! Three or four shows into our tour we had a day off in Waco, Texas and thats when we wrote 'You Will Find Me'... Here are the lyrics...
You Will Find Me When your souls weary When you find doubt When you can't hear me Lay your troubles down In your dark moments When your hearts weak Bring yourself broken You will find me Who wrote the rain Who wrote the sun in Who called your name Where are you running I'm gonna be there near or far I'm gonna meet you where you are Who wrote your name Who wrote the sun in When you come thirsty When the wells dry When your souls dirty I am by your side When your faiths broken When you can't see With my arms open You will find me Chorus You carried all my shame When you called my name I am not the same YOU WILL FIND ME - New song ft. Ben Rector & Steve MoaklerWith his new album "She Remains the Same" set to be released September 21st, Andrew Ripp releases a weekly series of videos. The first video is a live performance of the new song 'YOU WILL FIND ME' featuring co-writers Steve Moakler and Ben Rector.
